On Thursday, March 30, 2017, our amazing elementary and middle school teachers will be conducting teaching demonstrations in their classrooms from 6:15-7:15 p.m.
Please join us and get a small snapshot of what your child experiences in class each day! After a quick demonstration, there will be a question and answer session to discuss what you have learned.
Your students are very welcome to accompany you – they’ll love it! We will also offer childcare for the little ones, so you will able to concentrate on your classroom experience. Please RSVP to the Front Office if you need childcare.

The Burn Institute is a San Diego non-profit health agency dedicated to reducing burn injuries and deaths through fire and burn prevention education, burn survivor support programs and the funding of burn care research and treatment.

Dear Parents of St. Mary’s,
This is the Athletic Director reaching out to you all. I am doing so because thus far I have a small turn out of registrations for the annual track meet. This track meet is an amazing opportunity to see a state of the art facility at Cathedral Catholic High School. It is also a great opportunity to show support for our wonderful school.
Here are the specifics of the upcoming event:
- Track meet for K-4th grade is on April 1st from 8:30 am to about 1 pm (it could last a tad bit longer depending on how many participants from all of the school are in the event)
- Track Meet for 5th – 8th grade in on April 1st from 12:30 pm to about 4 pm (it could last a tad bit longer depending on how many participants from all of the school are in the event)
- Cost is $10.00 per participant.
Please look at the registration forms. I am extending the due date to Friday, March 10th. In addition to signing up for the track meet, I will be holding several practices for those who want tips and points. I will especially require those who sign up for the relay race to attend practice. More information will come out in regards to practice times and days.

The Uganda AIDS Orphan Children Foundation (UAOCF) is a non-profit charity that helps vulnerable children and those orphaned by AIDS in Uganda. The foundation’s mission is to provide support for orphans to attend residential elementary/secondary and technical schools.
If we raise only $350, our school can sponsor a year of school for an orphan.
Letters went home Friday (2/3) in your Family envelope for Fall 2017 enrollment. We are accepting children going into Kindergarten through 8th grade.
If you think you will need financial assistance from the school you must first apply to the “Bishop Flores Tuition Assistance Program,” which provides limited assistance to qualifying applicants. This process must be completed by the end of February. Apply for this program through the website: http://www.bishopfloresscholars.org/
Your enrollment packet will be available Wednesday & Thursday (2/22-23) for First through Eighth grades in the School Hall from 8:30am-5pm on both days. If you are unable to make these times, please contact Yvette in the Front Office to make alternative arrangements.
Our Kindergarten enrollment will begin on Monday, 2/13. If you are interested in enrolling for Kindergarten, you will need to make an appointment with Yvette in the Front Office who will lead you through the process. Please contact her at 760-722-7259.
