Hello! My name is Anna Tulino, and I am so excited to be a part of Saint Mary, Star of the Sea School community. I attended Catholic school in the Los Angeles area, K-12 and both my daughters attended Saint John School in Encinitas. Over the last two years I earned my teaching credential as well as a Master of Arts in Education. I have spent more than 600 hours in different classrooms observing and student teaching. I have changed my career because I wanted to make a difference in students’ lives. I will work hard and am committed to.

My educational philosophy is to keep the students engaged by providing interesting, different, and creative ways to learn. I believe in working hard academically as well as helping students build their relationship with God and develop friendships with each other.  I aim to create a classroom environment where students feel welcome, important, safe and are excited to come to school. I am thrilled to be your children’s 4^th grade teacher.
